On the opening night of the film festival, we will screen BLUE MOON, a smartphone produced feature film which has had some fantastic reviews from film festivals around the world. Directed by Stefan Harris, the film tells the story of Horace Jones (Mark Hadlow) who is working at an all-night petrol station when a drug dealer carrying large amounts of money dies in his bathroom. Enforcer Ratty (Jed Brophy) comes to find the missing money. However, when the two come face to face, it becomes clear that they know each other.
The night will feature an introduction from Festival Director Marcus Lee, and all attendees will be invited to take part in a short mobile phone film review!
The event will take place in the Cubby Broccoli cinema at the National Science and Media Museum. A Google Map of the venue can be found here.
